An Opportunity via Social Media
I first met Moses Andruga in 2015 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He lives in Pageri, South Sudan near the Uganda border and in the middle of an ongoing war zone. In spite of constant danger to he and his family he continues to faithfully serve our Lord and King. We keep in touch via facebook and I wanted to share a recent conversation. Please be in prayer for this opportunity to encourage some courageous and faithful servants of the Most High king! We will keep you updated on what happens.
The situation in South Sudan is critical and many fear that it will become a genocide like the recent one in Rwanda. Moses is currently working among the refugees in Adjumani district of Uganda where over 200,000 refugees are living.
Happy New Year Moses,. How are you?
Happy new yr . Everything is ok ! The refugee camp is calm from celebration mood as of today .
How are things in South Sudan?
Things are not ok , people are being killed on the road esp. In the Eastern Equatoria region , I am now in the refugees camp in Uganda
I will be in Uganda in 2 weeks. I will be mostly around Lugazi and Mukono and Mt Elgon area.
Woo! That is great ! What training are you coming to do?
We are working with pastors from the villages we are working in. We will be teaching 1 Peter and 1 Timothy. We will also be doing a Bible conference.
Woo, that is great ! Is there a chance to put in a few of our pastors from the camp to benefit from the training ?
That is fantastic!
That could be possible. Last year we did training in January, May, and September. We plan on doing the same in 2017. Our Pastors session in January will be a shorter one than May and September. Maybe you could bring some and meet our team and we could talk about it. We will meet at Rest Garden in Bwyogerere Friday evening through Sunday afternoon Jan 20-22.
Fantastic ! I pray that everything will work out fruitful & our pastors will be encourage to be in the training .
Many of our pastor and church leaders flee South Sudan 6 month ago and the lord God has been good that the pastors are able to plant new under tree churches but they themselves remain without any training that is intentional made to encourage them . I believe any training that will be provided for them will encourage them so so much .
I will talk to our Ugandan leaders and see what we can do. They have expressed interest in the past about helping in the camps. If you could come and bring a few pastors we could pray and see what God would have us do.
I like how you say “under tree churches”. That’s how our churches begin as well.
Good! The lord is doing great work here . Yesterday we baptized 52 people as they confess to follow Christ Jesus .
Under tree churches -Yes that is how we teach our church planters to begin and also it’s fitting with the life situation in the refugee camp ,
I just heard back from Masembe Cyprian, who is our Ugandan leaders and they would want to have you come.
We can book 2 people to a room so if want to bring 4 or 5 pastors with you I will book 3 rooms.
That is Ok ! Remember these pastors can not afford to pay for their transportation cost . That is a big challenge !. The good thing is visa payment may not be be required for for them to come only travel cost . Let us pray about that .
We will be praying for that. I can send transportation money to you via mobile money.
That will be great !

The cost for transportation and room and board for the conference from January 20-22 is $100 per person. If you would like to help these pastors you can donate through Frontier Force Christian ministries USA. Note South Sudan Pastors in the note box. Any extra funds will be given to the pastors and their families.
